Sliding Wood Panel Removable Acoustic Room Divider
Panel size:
Height: Up to 10 m as standard, higher panels possible to special order.
Width: Up to 1250 mm as standard, wider panels possible to special order.
Panel thickness with concealed edge profiles: 100 mm.
Acoustic performance:
Can be used to limit noise transmission between rooms by using optional dense cladding and internal insulation. Bunge panels have been tested to achieve sound reduction ratings of up to Rw 59 dB, measured in accordance with BS EN ISO 140-3. Can be used to adjust room reverberation time using optional textile coverings or optional perforated over cladding.
Fire performance:
Available with optional fire separation construction. Particular fire rating may not be available in all panel types and finishes. Consult manufacturer prior to specification. Available with optional finishes from standard range rated Class 1 Surface Spread of Flame when tested to BS EN 476 or Class 0, in accordance with Building Regulations (E&W) Approved Document B.
Track layout:
S1 tracking: Straight runs only, panels stacked within opening. Single track, single point suspension. Four wheel hanger.
S2–S10 tracking: For 90° movement of panels away from main track, for remote stacking. Twin point cross roller suspension.
Track profile:
Material and profile dependent on panel weight and other parameters. Ceiling angle trim allows masking of suspended ceiling edge. 20 mm recessed angle trim is required to avoid partition panels fouling ceiling when using single point suspension. Recessed angle trim may be advisable in other applications, dependent on panel width and pattern of use.
Panel type:
Full height door: Full height hinged pass door panel with fixed element at end of run only. Includes jamb fixed to wall on hinge side of door. Reduces overall acoustic insulation of installation. Available unrated, unrated with vision panel or half hour fire rated.
Glazed panel. Glazed area to choice. Minimum margins apply. Available single glazed, double glazed or double glazed with blinds.
Single leaf inset pass door panel: Reduces overall acoustic insulation of installation, available with a vision panel.
Double leaf inset pass door panel: Includes head panel and jamb on hinge side of door. Reduces overall acoustic insulation of installation, available with a vision panel.
Telescopic closure panel. One TE panel required at end of run for each opening. Internal sleeve for visual neatness as standard, matching panel finish.
Edge profile:
Concealed provided with 2 mm thick matching edge banding (ideal for some finishes such as projection or veneer). Exposed 7 mm and rolled 2 mm aluminium wraps the edge to protect the substrate (ideal for durability).

Panel finish:
Acoustic backed textile over cladding: With absorbent board backing.
Acoustic rigid over cladding: Choice of perforation and board finish, including veneers and spray paint as standard. Additional panel thickness: 12 mm minimum.
Acoustic stretched textile over cladding: Tension-ed over frame without backing.
Laminate: Available in manufacturer's colour range, RAL colors and wood grains.
Melamine: Available in manufacturer's colour range. RAL colors and wood-grains from GLAM.
Veneer: Available in manufacturer's range.
Dry wipe. Available in manufacturer's range.
