Description:
The operable wall series is the highest specification range of fully operable, individual-panel movable partitions system. Acoustic insulation of up to 56dB noise reduction is achieved with a combination of operable top and bottom seals, high performance multiple in fill's and a panel assembly design that allows an acoustic break between the frame and outer layer.
The vertical channels of each panel incorporate polymer inserts that facilitate an acoustic seal when the panels are set out as a wall. Panels are produced in three thickness, 65 mm, 85 mm and 100 mm, depending on acoustic rating (from 37dB–56dB).
Freature:
Isolated aluminium frame construction for enhanced acoustics.
High performance multiple in fill's for maximum sound attenuation.
Unique track and carrier system ensuring quiet and easy operation.
Numerous panel stacking options for complete flexibility.
No floor track ensuring obstruction free threshold.
Three panel sizes to accommodate a wide range of acoustic requirements .
Extensive range of surface finishes can be applied.
Extensive range of surface finishes available, easy construction and transportation.
The system offers various levels of sound reduction.
Combines elegance with robust construction.

Acoustic performance:
Can be used to limit noise transmission between rooms by using optional dense cladding and internal insulation. Bunge panels have been tested to achieve sound reduction ratings of up to Rw 55 dB, measured in accordance with BS EN ISO 140-3. Can be used to adjust room reverberation time using optional textile coverings or optional perforated over cladding.
Usage:
(1)Size of wall: all panels should be installed in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations.
(2)Cutting: all necessary hardware and accessories for a complete job installation are to be furnished by the contractor.
(3)Install the acoustic panels: the installation of acoustic panels should be carried out in a sequence from the left to the right, from upside to downside, the panels are cut to fit on site, traditional woodworking tools are suitable for cutting the panels, if panels are cut using a fine tooth table saw the panels should be cut face up to avoid scratching and at a much slower speed to avoid any tearout or chipping.
(4)Fix on keel:
Wooden keel fixing using nails, staples or screws into prefixed timber battens on the walls via the tongue and groove joint. It also can fixing by: light steel keel.
